Where's mine?

Who are these normal kids and what have they done with mine?

Oh wait, here they are.   Good thing too - I wouldn't have anything to laugh at without them

And yes, Morgan DOES take after her dad.  You noticed it too, huh?

Rides

What do you do on a sunny spring day when you have cabin/spring fever?  Go for a ride of course!

If the car ride isn't enough for you then you can always try one of these:

But not this one - it's a little too alive

Then, because you like the horse so much you decide to join the Army

Until you figure out it's more work than fun and you decide to come back home to mom

New toys

Rob and I got new bikes for our birthdays - thank you Anita.  We went and bought them this afternoon after almost a week of looking and choosing.  We both decided on the same style of bikes so we will even match when we go riding.  Of course I had to get a basket for mine and Rob had to get a bell for his.

Helmets

Robbie painted the girls' softball helmets this weekend.  It took him two days to do it but the girls are really happy with the way they turned out.  What do you think of them?

This one is Shannon's - she wanted it to look like a ball exploding out of fire

This one is Morgan's.  She had a hard time deciding between a rose with vines around the helmet or a space and planet theme.  Finally she told her dad to choose for her.  He wanted space of course:

Yes, we know there's a run in the helmet.  The spray can for the base coat got a glitch in it and sprayed out a whole bunch all at once.  At the time Morgan wanted the rose on the back so we figured it would hide it and didn't bother to sand it down and respray to save some time.

the girl with the ponytail is Morgan's favorite part of the whole helmet.  the idea was to have her hit the ball and it streaks around the front to become the big ball comet by her name

I can't wait for the girls to be able to wear these to their games.  I know they will be the only ones that have helmets like these
