Something new

Finally, we have something new to share.  Life here has been pretty boring.  Just school, chores, and commitments.  Even though it's been boring it's also been really busy so I haven't had the time or inclination to sit down and share.  But with every big event in our life we love to announce it.  So, here goes:

Introducing -

Lucy.
She is a 3 year old mini dachshund who belonged to the daughter of one of Rob's co-workers.
The daughter just had her second child and is in school full time so she just didn't have the time needed for Lucy.  At first, when asked, Rob said no he did not want her.  Then he decided to ask me.  I said no but then we started to think about it.  Morgan has been wanting another dog since she doesn't have Reeses anymore and we felt bad for the dog when we heard her story.  So then Rob said why don't we look at her and decide.  Well, you can see how that turned out.  She is now part of our family.
We changed her name because we just didn't think her old name fit her.  I know it will take some getting used to for her to be called something new but she is already starting to respond to it.

As you can see she likes Morgan and Morgan likes her.

And she already follows her around everywhere.

But she sure likes Rob too.  The surprising thing is that he likes her.

She also loves to be outside chasing things.  We have to keep her on a leash at all times though because apparently she likes to run and we don't have a fenced yard.  Morgan is already finding out that she will be a full time dog.  I can't wait till this winter to see how many trips outside it will take before Morgan gets tired of having to go with her.

Fun Festival

A couple of weeks ago we went to the Renaissance Festival.  It was so fun we went twice.  This weekend we went to the Peach Festival.  We missed the parades this year so it wasn't as fun as it usually is but we still enjoyed ourselves.  I also forgot to get pictures of the Peach Festival so here's a few pictures of the Renaissance Festival:

There were a lot of interactive shows

Slaying the enemy for the queen's favor

He even agreed to do a Middle Eastern dance
